Initiation
I am a pie and mash virgin. Until today, that is. The east London delicacy has eluded me until now. Ron - doing a Brucie in the picture - remembers them from his Walthamstow childhood and I was determined to give it a go. I was advised that you have to have it with liquor - a sort of parsley sauce.
So now I am a fully fledged pie and mash consumer.
And so tragic to hear of Tom Petty's premature death. My Blip from July sums up my sadness.
