Morning cuddles

'Mama, look!! Ernie is cuddling me'
Oh yes, I reply, that's nice.
'He likes cuddles now'.
But her brother quickly corrects her. 'No Nelly, I always like cuddles in the morning, I just don't like them in the afternoon.'

Later, the wee man asks me what I would like for my birthday on Friday. After I suggest hugs and coffee, he tells me that I can't include cuddles or food in my deliberations. I tell him I'm not sure and so he says 'i think you would really like a gravity maze puzzle' (which is what we gave to his friend Kajtus for his 6th birthday on Saturday). So, Dada, if you're reading this - you know what to get me now!!
