Daddy Very Long Leg

Dear Diary,

We always called these tiny spiders, Daddy Long Legs when I was young but this one is not only missing one leg but one leg is really, really long to boot!  Poor little guy.  I guess this would count as my first handicapped spider photograph.

Hopefully, this will be my last cold morning with no heat.  The furnace repair man will be here tomorrow, thankfully.  Today I will stay curled up under a blanket with my Thoreau biography recovering from yesterday's procedure.  Now, I wait for 2 weeks for the biopsy results to come back and we will know what we are dealing with.  Still hoping for a surgical date before the end of October.
