And then the sun sets...the view from the bathroom window upstairs

Pausing at the end of the day to look at the Cottage after making ready for, yet another, guest to arrive tomorrow, and that silly little giddy feeling comes over me again. Yep, Annie's Cottage is ready. The feeling, still magic. One of love, of anticipation, of giving the very best of us. Impossible to describe.

We step out on the porch, sun has gone, lights aglow on the waterfall, and there, a neighborhood cat stood several feet away, perched on a rock, drinking from the waterfall. Back lit, it's outline was clear against the water. We stood and watched as it drank, then looked up at us, then drank again. The pictures were a wee bit too dark to share.

A beautiful day, a beautiful night. Dear God, I love you for giving us this place of peace!
