Evening duty - supervising Study Hall - in the mezzanine of the student centre, an angular building of glass and metal,  at the end of another Monday, which I did like. Mostly. 

What to say about the mass murder in Las Vegas?  Currently 58 dead and God knows how many wounded. By one man with a gun.  C21st has become a world wide horror story of inexplicable philosophies beyond my ken.  I am ashamed and frustrated when all I can do is wring my hands for those whose inconsolable despair that this senseless act has wrought, will find no solace.
