Where Alpacas may safely graze

Between the railway and the canal at Thrupp lies a smallholding. Three Alpacas graze here. I wonder who their hairdresser is. They always look so dapper.

Steve went to Hull this morning, for a conference. I had a meeting, then went to work at the rehab. Hand massage was a hit with the lads, despite the usual smutty jokes..

Right now I am watching a documentary on the Vietnam war, because we are learning about the 1970s in my WEA course, and I still don't understand why it happened. I was born in 1964 in Dublin, and throughout the decade, the war rumbled along in the background of adult lunchtime conversation, much as the Troubles did later. It was all very far away. Watching it now is so much worse.
