Boats

Walked along the coast to Land's End and back. Got caught in a heavy rain shower on the way back and sheltered in a hut on top of a hill just above Sennan. It's National Trust owned and had been built to commemorate the D day landing training that went on there (I think I've got that right anyway!).
There were loads of people that had the same idea and we all crammed in. After a while Cathie and I decided we'd just go, it was still raining but not quite so heavy and it cleared up not too long after.
We sat and looked out across the water of 'our' bay for quite a while. It had turned back to bright turquoise.
Chicken curry and rice for main and apricots with chocolate spread (don't try this recipe!!)  at the tent.
Took a drive to Newlyn and walked from there along the front to Penzance and back (after exploring the town a bit).
Disappointed with Penzance! For having such a well known name it's obvious they have done everything as cheaply as they can (and tacky with that) and are only interested in making a fast buck. Which is a real shame because if they took more interest and did it properly they'd definitely make more money and have visitors returning.
As soon as we set back off in the car (to drive to Penzance and back to charge our phones a bit!) it hammered it down!
Hot chocolate and bed. :)
