Blipmeet at Stowe

Oh my goodness!  Another wonderful, wonderful day with blippers chantler63, Anniemay, and Igor at Stowe.  As Mr. W was busy all day careening around Silverstone race track in a borrowed Caterham, Chantler picked me up from our hotel and chauffeured me to Stowe where we joined Anniemay and Igor for coffee and cake and a discussion of camera bits and bobs before we all set off for a windblown -- but mercifully dry! -- tramp around the beautiful grounds dotted with follies and archways and temples and sheep.  Luckily the house was open for tours today as the students of Stowe School were not there, so we got to see some very grand interiors as well!

Here you can see, from top to bottom:  Chantler in full professional photographer mode, getting her knees muddy, Anniemay with envy-making cameras on display, and Igor also making his clothing suitably soiled and rumpled in pursuit of art!  What a lovely bunch of blippers they are, and what an absolute joy to be able to spend time with them after "knowing" them for so long on this website!  Thank you all for a truly memorable and enjoyable day!
