Signs of the times!

This stately tree, quietly shedding its leaves, is in the Glasgow Botanic Gardens. After yesterday's torrential rain the grass was very muddy ... glad I wasn't wearing my good shoes!

The extra shot is a view of Glasgow University Tower taken from the grass in front of the Art Galleries.

The weather, although windy, was much better than yesterday .... ideal conditions for blowing the cobwebs away.
