Skippy

Went over to Skipton today to meet fellow blipper : the lovely evolybab who is staying nearby.
I had told her it was Market Day but was dismayed upon arriving to see not one stall had been erected.
Can only think the weather forecast for gale force winds had prevented it.
Nevertheless the wind was nowhere near what had been predicted and we strolled up and down the High Street, along the canal and in and out of snickets  /ginnels/alleyways ( choose your own name from which region you hail from)
We were talking so much photography took second place!
We did have fish and chips in Bizzie Lizzies ( of course) had been hoping to eat them sat outside on a bench next to the canal but too cold and blustery for that. So we had them sat down inside with proper Yorkshire Tea.
Did manage this entrance to the canal basin where the brave were taking boat rides.
