Yodh is the most frequently occurring letter in the scriptures and also the smallest of the letters. It represents a mere dot, a divine point of energy. Yodh is used to form all the other letters, and since God uses the letters as building blocks of creation, Yodh indicates God's omnipresence.
Jesus upholds the world by the word of His power ( hebrews 1v 3 ) and Yodh is part of every hebrew letter, and therefore every hebrew word, so Yodh is considered the starting point of the presence of God in all things - the spark of the Spirit in everything.
Yodh being the smallest letter is a picture of humility.
Yodh is composed of 3 parts; the upper prong ( tag) , a lower line curved downward, and a middle section. The upper tag points towards God, the lower line toward earth, and the middle section holds the parts together in unity. Therefore since it is 3 parts in one, Yodh is not unlike the letter Aleph in alluding to divinity and a picture of Jesus our humble mediator before the Father.
Yodh is the first letter of the divine name Yahweh, and the name of Yes hua ( Jesus ). As the first letter of God's name , Yodh shows that He is Spirit, He is one and that from Him derive all other things by the power of His word.
How does Jesus fulfil the letter Yodh ? - His hand will establish us and conform us to His image.
