Life in a Northern Town

MM193 - Entrance

1996. Here is David having just made his entrance into the world (thankfully there is no photographic record of the exact moment - I don't think we want MY entrance featuring on Blip). It seems appropriate as today he is making his entrance into the world of work, starting his first proper, all grown-up job.

He has a training contract with KPMG, so despite our best efforts he is following in the family footsteps and will be a Chartered Accountant. This week he is in Reading for an induction week, then he is back home for the next 3 years to complete his training in Leeds.

I have never been anything less than proud of him, he always works hard,  gives his best, is kind  and I think (without any bias at all...) is a fine young man.  Thanks to JDO for hosting Mono Monday, and for giving me a convoluted opportunity for some Mummy cooing.

Good luck DC for the next 40 odd years of working without those 3 month summer breaks.
