She Walks in Beauty.....

I went to a bridal show today with friends, one of whom is a bride-to-be. We had great fun checking out all the vendors, sampling catered delicacies and giving opinions to our bride who was gracious enough to accept them with a smile. I've never seen so many choices in my life. Planning a wedding is serious business!

The fashion show was the best part, with all styles of dresses. More choices! Some of them were so voluminous that they looked as though it would take two people to get them down an aisle, and some were elegantly simple. There was even a western-themed dress worn with cowboy boots which was actually very cute, and also a vintage gown from the 1950s.

This stunning young lady wore both dresses I liked best. Every time she came down the runway everyone else paled in comparison. She just had an elegance about her that added so much to the dresses.

It was a fun day -- almost made me wish I had a bride-to-be in my family. Actually, I think my grandson is planning to get married -- maybe I better give him a call and see if they need some help. I know a couple of good wedding planners now.
