A busy day in Dunscore...the culmination of years of hard work - the church was finally ready, warm, dry, safe, bright and welcoming.

Almost 200 people gathered for the service of rededication in the afternoon  and this was followed by a buffet supper and a concert by the Cairn Chorus. It was a joy to sing here to such a receptive and appreciative audience, even though many of the choir members had been singing all day at the recording studio in Dumfries for the making of a CD of the Cairn Valley Song Cycle.

It's back to work for me in the morning :-)
