Artist Annie's New Home
What a delightful day it was to have some time to visit Ann in her new "condo home" in Bellingham saturday. After a brief visit to the Bellingham wonderful farmer's market, Big R and I headed up to visit Ann....bringing along a delicious beef meat pie bought at the market. This collage shows a bit of her lovely place....welcoming us at the door was lovely Ann and inside many of her precious keepsakes as well as a fine sculpture of Arvin and some of his beloved Ravens on the wall. A couple images from her living room--one with Big R who had made himself right at home, and one of her friend and handyman Ric in the kitchen chatting with Ann. Methitabel was sitting by the couch when we first arrived and later she was under the covers in Ann's room with brother Duma. Two beautiful gourds painted by a friend were sitting on a lovely shelf. I also loved seeing her photos of her mom and dad.
It was good to catch up for a couple hours with Ann and to feel closely the presense of Arvin with us. He was such a dear sweet man that both R and I felt so lucky to have known . Ann was the first blipper I met in Bellingham several years ago when we shared lunch and a mini tour with her and Arvin....what wonderful people and friends...so fortunate to have Ann still in our lives and we always feel so easy to just reconnect without pretenses. More visits to come!!! Here's a link to her capture of me while there...:) Oh...and a note altho no pic included here is that the birds have found Ann's feeders and especially many hummers are there...she has a very sweet little yard adorned with flowers and feeders!
