I've been swithering a bit about where to go with non-big-camera days, and in the end I decided I just needed a phone with more storage and a better camera. 

So, on the way back from rowing in the pissings of rain I dropped into Ocean Terminal, where they were very very helpful.

I've been checking out the weird 'live photos', and the slo-mo, and all that.  Very impressed.  Just another few minutes of learning about features I'll never ever use again, then whisky and crime novel and bed. 

Brief allotment trip after botanics and playground and all the usual.  Very pleasant.
