Celebrating...

...the 100th anniversary of the Farmers' Union, this time on the local level. In the day we had a little exhibition on the yard of our local Farming and Household Society house. A drone pic of it as the main blip.

The actual celebration was in the house in the evening. After a couple of speeches, some music and an excellent dinner, we enjoyed an excellent show by ventriloquist Sari Aalto, in the first extra. If her name sounds vaguely familiar, it might be because her cousin Saara placed second in The X Factor UK last year.

Next, we saw a fire show by fire circus group Flamma. Something that I had never photographed before, and certainly not the easiest subject, but got a few good shots anyway. One of them in the second extra.

The last part of the programme was music and dancing. The band was called Rytmiorkesteri Huwitus. They played very well and everyone had a lot of fun. The band in the third extra.
