Leaving do

There were three leaving 'do's today. I went to DB's. He's been at the University for 21 years.
Strange times.
And the pub had decorated a fireplace to advertise their suitability for Xmas parties. Call me Old-Fashioned, but I don't think that Christmas starts until the 1st of October.
