Father and Daughter

Tim and I had a lovely, slow start to the day - just as Saturdays are meant to be. We then went out to the west end (I've never been farther west than King's Cross with Tim before - if you don't count Vancouver Island - a mere 4,729 further miles west).

We met up with Tim's daughter J who is such a good egg. She is a delightful young woman with oodles of energy. She's just back from her honeymoon and we saw some photos and had a good catch up. J has infectious good energy - the kind you want to catch.

Another night, another superb gig at an impressive venue. We went off to Camden to Cecil Sharp House  (English folk music and dance centre) to see the wonderful father and daughter combination of Eliza Carthy and Martin Carthy. The support act we're called The Drystones who were superb and who claimed to come from a part of Somerset where people can't pronounce 'London'. All in all a superb day!
