Glenfinnan Monument

A drive up to Glenfinnan this lunchtime.

A very poignant location - and all the more atmospheric with the Autumnal weather and changing light.

Instead of paying to go up the Monument, we walked up to the (muddy) viewpoint at the back of the visitor centre, where not only do you get the view like this one, but also the Glenfinnan Viaduct, made even more famous by the Harry Potter films (and Bank of Scotland tenners!)
