Faskally reflections

Bright, though slightly chilly this morning for parkrun  and didn't hurry as not wanting to exacerbate a hamstring strain.
The collected the kayaks and went to Pitlochry for a paddle in Loch Faskally. It remained mainly bright and we managed the 2 miles to the dam and back - with a bit of avoiding of other boats. I didn't take a camera with me and so missed what could have been good pics of beech leaves on the very dark water.
The pic was taken before we started and if you look at the extra you'll see there is less water - the level had gone down about a foot whilst we were out! There must have been a big demand for electricity early afternoon but it made the currents more obvious.
