The eyes have it!

Today was the 25th Birthday of Atlantis Leisure and the opening of the new play park. I went along to have a nosey and met my friend Paul who had brought a couple of his birds to liven up the proceedings.

This is Stanley, who's a Great Horned Owl, if I remember correctly, a relative of the Eagle Owl. A noisy beggar though he's only 20 weeks old. 

Later on we had another balsam pulling session on the Black Lynn Burn, but as only three of us turned up, one being one of Oban's councillors, we didn't get a huge amount done. Same again tomorrow afternoon - I'm feeling achy just thinking about it!
