Pathway of Enlightenment

Oh what a beautiful morning! I lay in bed and drafted work emails (daft I know) then went to the office to tidy up the plants on the balcony. I did think of climbing Arthur's Seat, but no, home to sort out some parental stuff then off to my Alma Mater.

It was an event to showcase the refurbed McEwan Hall for those who've contributed. We have our names on tiles in the Pathway of Enlightenment. The Hall was beautiful, though I was hardly ever in it. My graduation, D's OU graduation, an event a couple of years ago and giving blood when I was a student. On the way out I passed Prof Peter Higgs who was just going in.  He is still very spry for 88.  An amazing man.

Home to do some more parental admin and now out for dinner.  As usual,  running late.
