Sweet Chestnut

I haven't been to Ockham Common for a while, and according to the Surrey Wildlife Trust website it is "good for fungus" - so I headed over there this morning to check it out.

Sure enough, the woodlands were full of fungus, including some more unusual ones, and some definitely poisonous ones (e.g. The Sickener - see extra).  However, I really liked these Sweet Chestnut nuts, still nestling in their soft bed, and took some time out to create a focus stack of them
