Two Views

Taken from exactly the same spot!!  Just turned from left (top) to right (bottom).  Amazing the difference the light can make to a shot:-)  This is the Loch of Lintrathen, where I drove this afternoon in order to buy some more plants from the stall at Peel Farm.

Chose a couple of Sedum with pink flowers which should last into December, a Geum Borisii, which has fluorescent orange flowers (which may be a bit of a gamble!) and something called a Houttuynia "Chameleon", a new plant to me and which has wonderfully variegated leaves.  If you don't happen to like the colour, you can grow it in the shade when the leaves will revert to green and gold:-)  Plan to put that round the pond as it spreads like wildfire and likes a wet area.  Lots to look forward to!

A perfect Autumn day with sunshine and no wind, so had to enjoy it while it lasted as it's about to change:-)
