Chester Cathedral - ARK

This is our first time in Chester and we were very impressed with the city. We were also fortunate enough to be there when the ARK exhibition was on, spreading 90 sculptures out around the cathedral and the grounds. Some are obvious (a life-sized gorilla, or Michael Joo’s Zebra, seen here) while others are slightly tucked away and need a little searching out. A free exhibition with material by world renowned artists in such a beautiful setting was a real surprise!
ARK closes on October 15 so you have a couple of weeks to get yourself to Chester if it's the sort of thing that interests you.
