Susten Pass
The journey goes on. In the morning we had a short visit to a family on the farm (see extras for Leandra who was posing for us. In the second extra the result of the potato harvest). Afterwards we headed towards the Canton of Ticino, where the aunt of my wife lives.
We took the route over the Susten Pass. Quite a long pass road with 45 km and usually only open during summer. The most interesting thing to see were some glaciers along the road and were happy that there was almost no traffic. Quite the contrary then with the Gotthard Pass. As there was a traffic jam to pass the tunnel we decided to take the pass road as well. It was a good decision, but later on got stucked in the usual traffic jam towards Ascona. Anyway, we arrived perfectly in time for dinner.
