Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park

The short distance from Brookings, Oregon where we spent the night to Jedediah Smith Redwoods State Park allowed us to spend the entire day enveloped in the humongous trees.
We walked among them all morning on two different trails meeting only four other hikers along the way.
The afternoon was a very slow drive on the Howland Hill Road as scenic byway through the park.
Absolutely one of the best 10 miles of dirt road we've ever experienced!
