Our beloved piano. I bought it from ebay for not very much when +1/3 was still little because I felt than an old piano has to be the best instrument for very young children to start hammering on. Literally. Not so much piano, more forte.

Now +1/3 is getting guitar lessons at school and they have both regular treble clef music along with TAB. When I pointed out that he should be able to play his music on the piano I think he was geniunely surprised; I think he hadn't made that mental connection. Add some stickers for the notes and +2/3 could also join in... they actually make some quite lovely noises.
