A Girl's Best Friend

My Mum used to sing an old song which began "A sewing machine, a sewing machine. a girl's best friend".
My sewing machine has been unpacked and is now helping me to make some cushion covers (fabric from the market yesterday). This is just an off-cut which I am using to  test the stitching.
