Voyage of a Beagle & Lab

Autumn

Woke at 5 this morning to the sound of rain, heavy rain together with sound of rain cascading from the roof on to a lower roof - added to the 'to do list', roofer to fix guttering. It was still horribly wet when Coco and I ventured to the park, it was well worth making the effort - the boys, Theo and Ed, had brought their little cousin Charlotte, a 11 week old spaniel. She was gorgeous, unfortunately it had been just so wet I didn't have the camera with me.

The rain did eventually abate and it was a gorgeous autumnal afternoon. Not that I really noticed, you can only ignore the state of the house for so long and a little housework had to be done today - vacuum cleaner died, so after sometime spent trying to revive it a trip out to buy a new one was required. Totally bamboozled by the selection so came home without one. I have now read all the on-line reviews, checked the prices and reserved one to be collected from Argos tomorrow. I really should have just gone with my first instinct and bought the one that was the prettiest colour. Not many blip opportunities so just a little autumn colour from the bottom of the garden. Hope everyone having a lovely weekend! ;0)
