Hovercraft Racing

We had a trip out today, over towards Aylesbury to a country house called Claydon House. Once a year the hovercrafts race around the grounds, through the lake out the front of the house and around the trees, its a very nice setting.

It is an inexpensive day out (£10 for a car full of people) and it is usually good fun. One 17 year old girl had a bit of an off that resulted in an ambulance coming to take her away (suspected spinal injury) as a result of three hovercraft having a coming together. Ouch.

It was a good opportunity for me to play with my zoom lens quite a bit. Practice panning, play with shutter speeds etc.
