Experimental Scarecrow
Geez, I'll bet David Bailey never had to do this - act as your own model, tripod, light-stand and button presser, all at the same time.
More messing about with flash. This time I ventured out of the woods into a field briefly.
I am hoping that any passing cars just thought I was a new experimental scarecrow/bird scaring device.
Strobist: Ambient exposure manually set to under-expose background by 2 stops. Flash in right-hand set to TTL. Built-in flash set to TTL but underexposed by 2 stops - just to provide a wee bit of fill on the side of the face opposite the main light. Both arms: aching.
