Sebastien sat quietly through a long signing session so we could close on our present house in the city. (The buyers won't be taking over until next week, though, so we're not homeless right now.)

Afterwards, we treated ourselves to ice cream and a long, happy walk in the state park that is minutes from our new house.

Breathing in the fresh air and listening to the quiet sounds of the wind, the creek, and the crickets reminded us one of the big reasons why we were making the move. It also calmed all of us down and made Sebastien a very happy boy once again. A little bit of nature in one's life can be so important.
