Rescued!

I was on a wood walkway across an area of the salt marsh when I knelt down to take a picture and this knife popped out of my pocket, bounced twice, then ended up in the water.

Luckily it was low tide so I was just barely  able to see the tip of the handle sticking up out of the mud.

If it was high or even mid tide I wouldn't have seen it or even known where exactly to look, because it kind of bounced behind me when it fell out. 
Plus it would have been under 3-4 feet of salt water.

This is a Microtech Socom Elite auto and is my EDC knife.
It has razor sharp154-CM blade steel and a 8/2000 born on date and has been with me for many years and I don't think I could find a replacement.

I cleaned it up and it works fine.

Glad it wasn't lost forever.
