Oot Owre Tae Fife
Singing this morning, and a road trip through Fife this afternoon.
Our singing group specialises in Scots songs, so afterwards I find myself thinking in the dialect I spoke as a child - long forgotten by it being discouraged at school, then thirty-odd years living down south.
Crossing the Bridge into Fife also sets me thinking in the old way.
We ended the day in Pittenweem, a fishing village that still has a fleet. They were setting out on the evening tide.
Please forgive me, I'm getting all sentimental ....
