Henry, horses and dogs

Today we got up early after a nightmare of a night. It was H-O-T. We did the 8 hour drive from tennant creek to Katherine, and arrived at our rooms{number 20, +21}. We then went to Katherine outback experience. At first it seemed like a farm that was lifeless and had been deserted a week ago, but when we went around the back we actually found lots of people sitting around a round dusty ring. We went and sat down and a man came out whose name was Tom. He showed us how to tell how a horse is feeling and then asked if the kids would like to go over to feed the goats and ducks. We fed the ducks first but they just kept nipping us. Then we fed the goats and I fed a brown one with a big white spot down his forehead.Then we went back and saw a dog show.One dog called Wonder was realy naughty but it wasn't surprising because she was new. At the end he stood up on his horse and played a song on his guitar while his horse chased a mechanical cow.We patted the dogs { I patted Wonder} and set off back to the hotel. At the hotel we went in the pool and it was the right depth,and temperature. We splashed and played in the pool for ages and Mum tried to teach me to do a handstand in the water but I just ended up accidentally doing a backwards somersalt into the deep end. Henry kept asking us to all sit on the side so he could just push us in after doing his cute, but evil laugh. When we came back inside we decided that there would be a kids room and an adults room. Henry had to sleep on the floor on a mattress but he didn't mind. All he minded was that he could kick my mattress.
