Signs of Autumn

It has been a wet and windy day and after a bit of a tour round we ended up in Bowness and sunshine!!
Bowness is supposed to be a tourist resort but ,unfortunately, on a Sunday it does not cater for tourists. I was amazed to find a lot of shops shut at 4.30 p.m. even though there were a lot of people wandering around ( looking for shops that were still open?)
