Sunbursts from the grey over the Beauly Firth, and South Kessock, Inverness, this evening.

Some good news today, in the form of official confirmation in a letter. Its for something that's been a long time in coming, and living a frugal existence for many a year (aside from photo gear in the last few), is what has brought it about. Quite a burden to have lifted, a fortunate, and perhaps liberating position to be in.

Considered opening a bottle of Champagne, that someone gave me years ago. But as I've not had a drink since the 1st of January, I'd be distinctly tiddly long before reaching the bottom. A bit too much for (this) one... don't fancy the hangover either! I'll have some more chocolate instead!
