Connections

Early alarm today to drive my guests back to Pisa airport for 9.15am, then flight back to Manchester, little "commuter" train to Preston, and change to a lovely Virgin Pendolino to Penrith, where Gail & Mike collected me.

This was taken between my various connections at Preston, and I liked the connection between the two girls behind the timetable too - the only time I've seen such perfection "in step" was militry marching.

Mike took his entrance exam for the Grammar school today, we won't find out the results for some time, so good luck to him.

Good to be home.
