Thon Musselburgh field again
I had to call in Tony Robinson after Neil Oliver was unavailable - he had a fitting with his stylist who had procured a new man bag for him and wanted to discuss foppish haircuts.
The fragment of the Cigs was clearly part of a bigger work now lost to Cigsworld and the board wondered if a full excavation could be carried out.
Carbon dating has been done and paint samples sent to the lab so we'll get an answer by the middle of next week.
Whether there are funds to do a full scale restoration is unclear; the exchange rate has seen the Cigs rise steadily against the Youtz in the past month or so which makes it expensive to pay artisan craftsmen to carry put the necessary work.
A full report will be circulated to the Cigs Gold Members before a final decision is taken.
