Two ashes
We drove up to Glen Devon to take part in an event the Woodland Trust had organised - a guided walk round some of the million or so trees they've done over the last 15 years or so. At one stage we were walking down the old drove road in Glen Quey, which had some fairly venerable trees alongside it, and were struck by the contrast between these two old ash trees - the one on the right sadly affected by ash die-back and the one on the left apparently untroubled by it and still bearing all its leaves.
It was a grand day out.
