Still life with conkers

The one good thing about my trip to Wimbledon yesterday was finding these. Sadly my biomechanics expert had three braces ordered, two of which were the wrong size, the third was the right size but for the wrong leg. So I had to brace myself and wait for yet another day.

I thought going privately would speed things along a bit but as it happens my NHS Fracture Clinic appointment is on Thursday, a day before (fingers crossed) I finally get the brace.
