Helter-skelter

September Challenge Day 29.

Today we carried on sorting out my mother-in-law's house now that she's moved out. It's nearly done, maybe one more 'sorting' session then a 'cleaning' session and it'll be ready to go to (hopefully) a nice young family.

Afterwards we went to see my mother-in-law at her care home. It's such a nice place, small and friendly and with a lovely garden she can potter about in. Although the lounge is a communal area, the residents have a few personal things dotted about it so it feels more like home.

Earlier on we'd finally found all the old photos we'd been looking for, plus a few surprises as well, so we brought a few to show her. There's exactly 70 years between these two pictures but I reckon the smile hasn't changed.

She's certainly happy where she is now and we did laugh when she said it'll do her nicely until she has to go into care!
