Admiring Her Reflection

Captured on an information board at Kinghorn Loch. Macro setting on my bridge camera.

Not sure exactly what it is (Yes, I know it is a fly.) so any help with an ID would be welcome. Size: just over a centimetre.

I have since identified it as a tachinid fly - possibly Tachina fera.
