A few moments out...

...of the day for some thoughts of my beautiful wee sister who left us all one year ago to the day. She is never far from my thoughts or my heart.

Mr R and I took some yellow gerberer flowers to this spot. Gill loved gerberers. The yellow flowers were nice & bright and a wee bit like sunflowers. Gill loved sunflowers too.

I love this spot. There is a wee bench to rest on, it’s enclosed by the trees so although it’s just a few metres from the path you feel quite secluded and you can see Dumyat, it’s the hill of home. It’s a perfect wee spot for taking some moments out.

And we often do when we are up at the University for our various activities.

Forever there will be a piece of my heart missing with Gill’s passing.

I am grateful today for the kind words from family and friends and the knowledge that they are holding us close. And I am grateful for the years I had with my chubby hands and the memories of those years.
