Autumn at Anne's

I took a walk to Anne Hathway's Cottage today to see if I could get any autumnal photos. I guess it's still a bit early, though there were signs on some of the trees, and the windfall fruit.

I went through the adjacent woods then into the sculpture park and arboretum. It was quite a good day weather-wise, warm and sunny, so I had a nice walk snapping randomly.

Out of the all the pics taken it took Ann and I a while to decide which to use. We finally decided on this one as it presents a different way of looking at the cottage, snapped by thousands as a pretty country retreat, this one isn't!
