Met up with an old work colleague and her husband today.  They've been on a walking holiday and have walked a good stretch of the Coast to Coast path.  Its been nearly ten years since we worked together in Oxfordshire.  I met them in Silloth for a walk and we had a great catch up.  Afterwards we had lunch and then I took them to Wigton station for their onward journey to Oxford.  Silloth was looking lovely today, lots of flowers on the green which were swarming with butterflies.  There was no wind and it was very warm.  The tide was creeping in very slowly and of course the girls had to have a paddle.
