Bairro Alto

As my feature story about a neighborhood going through gentrification I chose Bairro Alto. Everyone in Lisbon knows this neighborhood. It's a party neighborhood with old people living there.

The elderly are basically trapped there. The rents are so cheap that they can't afford a place anywhere else but at the same time they can't bear the noise and the garbage that results from the heavy partying.
