The sun appeared whilst driving towards Kendal this morning so I pulled into the big lay-by just out of town to get a few photos of the misty landscape. Fortunately the hedge had recently been cut so I was able to see over at it's lowest point. I just had my phone but  think it did well.

On the subject of phones, our house one is now fully functioning. Last week, Daniel in Dublin said the fault was definitely with our equipment and not with the line or exchange. We disagreed. Yesterday the engineer checked everything .......  the box in the hall, the point where the phone line enters the house and the connections under the pavement two houses away. He finally found the problem at the exchange!
